Luther Forest Technology Campus

The Luther Forest Technology Campus is a 1,414-acre (573 hectacres) site specifically designed for semiconductor and nanotechnology manufacturing and other innovative technologies. The Luther Forest Technology Campus will also be home to GLOBALFOUNDRIES (a joint venture between AMD, Inc. and ATIC of Abu Dhabi). Construction of their state-of-the-art 300mm fabrication facility (dubbed Fab 2) began in Summer 2009 with production anticipated for Summer of 2012.
