Secondary Airport: Saratoga County Airport has one 4,700 ft. runway and one 4,000 ft. runway, and can accommodate executive/business aircraft. The airport is located on Geyser Road in the Town of Milton
RAIL
The two rail lines serving the County are CP Rail and Boston-Maine. Amtrak
has a station at Saratoga Springs with service on a daily basis.

WATERWAYS
The Port of Albany has 2 wharves, 4,200 ft. and 1,200 ft., and outside storage acreage, including rail distribution. The Port is open all year round and can handle ships up to 750 ft. in length. The channel depth and width is 32 ft. and 400 ft. Respectively. There is 750,000 tons annually which is put through this channel.
The Hudson River is the eastern and northern border of Saratoga County. Waterways north of the port are open approximately 9 months out of the year via the Champlain Canal. They are closed only during winter months.
ELECTRICITY AND GAS
Two utilities serve the electric and gas needs of Saratoga County: Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation which encompasses the major part of the County, and New York State Electric and Gas Corporation. Both electric companies furnish all the requirements for electricity within the boundaries of the County, having their own generation, back-up and emergency power. Efficient use of the Mohawk & Hudson Rivers, which provide sufficient fall for hydroelectric generation facilities, gives Saratoga County one of the lowest electric rates in the State. Natural gas is provided through both utility companies with an intricate distribution network which can adequately serve the domestic and light industrial accounts of the County, with full expansion capabilities.
SEWER SYSTEMS
There are 7 sewer districts within Saratoga County including a Countywide 21,000,000 gpd system, which has been adequately distributed to all major incorporated areas with rural septic systems in the balance of the County.
WATER SYSTEMS
Saratoga County has unlimited water resources stemming from the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers as well as intricate under-ground spring reserves. There are 20 public and private water systems in the County, with adequate storage facilities for large water users.
COMMUNICATIONS
Verizon serves Saratoga County, with 20 exchanges, and Citizen's Telephone. Direct dialing, touch-tone service, and electronic switching is available. There are a number of private telecommunication companies from whom equipment may be purchased.
